Together with Stakeholders, UMRAH Discussed the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan

TANJUNGPINANG – UMRAH invited a number of stakeholders to participate in providing input and views in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) when discussing the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of Raja Ali Haji Maritime University at CK Hotel Tanjungpinang, Saturday (12/12)

This activity aims to optimize planning in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the context of developing the UMRAH Campus in the short-term plans for 2020-2024.

Rector of the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, Prof. Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti, explained that UMRAH needed to get support from other parties so that this strategic plan was in line with the regional vision and mission. A good strategic plan will certainly help to set long-term goals and systematic goals in stages. In simple terms, strategic planning will show the conditions to arrive and what steps must be taken to achieve them

“Today we invite stakeholders to discuss and exchange opinions and listen to issues that we will develop later in the UMRAH strategic plan,” he said.

Furthermore, the Rector of UMRAH added that the discussion of the Strategic Plan that involved stakeholders was to support the SATU GURINDAM Program which would be implemented.

The Focus Group Discussion which lasted for one day was attended by the Head of Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Prov. Kepri, Head of LAM Tanjungpinang City, Head of the Riau Islands Province Planning, Research and Development Agency, Head of BRI Tanjungpinang Branch, PT.
