UMRAH gelar Rakor Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi se-Kepri

TANJUNGPINANG – Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) held a Coordination Meeting for Higher Education Leaders throughout the Riau Islands Province. Friday (11/12) at CK Tanjungpinang Hotel & Convention Center. This activity was attended by almost all higher education leaders throughout the Riau Islands Province.

The university leaders who attended included the Rector of UIB, the Rector of Ibnu Sina Batam University, the Karimun University Rector, the Chairperson of STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang, the Chairperson of STEMIK GICI Batam, the Director of Batam State Polytechnic, the Director of Tanjungpinang Health Polytechnic, the Director of Bintan Tourism Institute, the Deputy Rector III UNRIKA , Deputy Rector IV of Universal University Batam, Deputy Chair III of STIKES Hang Tuah Tanjungpinang, Deputy Chair I of STAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang and Deputy Chair I of STAIN SAR Tanjungpinang

In his remarks UMRAH Rector, Prof. Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti, S.Pi, DEA said that the Coordination Meeting for Higher Education Leaders in the Riau Islands Province was intended as a medium in conveying the main ideas of the forum for the local government.

“This assembly will convey the main ideas of the forum to the Riau Islands Provincial Government so that it can become a strategic partner of the Regional Government. This assembly will continue to coordinate all the time, it is scheduled that every year there will be two meetings in this Forum, “concluded Prof. Agung in front of other higher education leaders throughout the Riau Islands

According to the UMRAH Chancellor, it is the joint responsibility of Universities throughout Riau Islands to ensure the success of the task of producing superior human resources for the Riau Islands Province and also for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia

“This assembly will certainly be a forum for synergy and efforts to align the quality and standards of higher education institutions in Riau Islands”, said Prof. Agung in his speech

Ruddy Firmansyah, S.AP, CHA Director of Bintan Tourism Institute at the Coordination Meeting appreciated this activity and considered this meeting as a wise step taken by UMRAH in building Riau Islands in the future

The Coordination Meeting of Higher Education Leaders throughout the Riau Islands Province which was initiated by UMRAH also sparked a forum called the Communication Forum for Higher Education Leaders throughout the Riau Islands Province with the election of the Forum Chair, Prof. Dr. Agung Dhamar Syakti, S.Pi, DEA (UMRAH Rector), as the Forum Secretary, Dr. M. Faisal, M.Ag (Chairperson of STAIN SAR Tanjungpinang), and as Forum Treasurer, Iwan Iskandar, S.KM, M.KM (Director of Poltekkes Tanjungpinang)

After the formation of the Communication Forum for Higher Education Leaders in the Riau Islands Province, Aris Bintania (Deputy Chair of I STAIN SAR Tanjungpinang) expressed his gratitude for the implementation of this activity.

“Alhamdulillah, for STAIN SAR today is a historic day with the formation of Higher Education Leadership Communication throughout the Riau Islands Province as well as marking the start of efforts to synergize Higher Education throughout the Riau Islands. Hopefully it will give birth to new breakthroughs and innovations in welcoming the era of an independent campus.
